Everyone keeps bothering my husband while he’s on vacation. He could be taking the kids to their activities, helping his parents, going to the store, or something else. I knew he was working for three months straight without a break, but that’s just how it happened.
He took the kids’ toy bow and arrows today and wouldn’t let anyone near him unless he asked. The kids are bringing him drinks, and even the cats left him alone today. It’s clear, my dear! You’re sick of everyone.
My husband is a lazy teddy bear who won’t get out of bed on his days off unless he has to. People around us are still surprised by his behaviour, but I’m used to it and love him just the way he is.
I was in a taxi going home one time and had no money in my wallet or on my card. I called my love and asked him to bring money to the entrance of the building. I got there and got out of the car, but my husband wasn’t there. He’s waving at me from the balcony and dropping a bill on a fishing line…
The taxi driver was shocked, but I wasn’t at all. He wouldn’t have come out even if our windows didn’t face the door.

On February 14th, my husband was working in another city. I knew where his rental apartment was and ordered a box of doughnuts with different flavours. I made sure they would be delivered by 8:00 p.m. They called back at 7:30 p.m., said they were sorry, and said they were out of ingredients!
I was mad and sent him a message with a screenshot of the order that had been cancelled. He sent me a screenshot of a receipt showing a refund for the flower delivery and said, “Sorry, we couldn’t fulfil your order.” We ended up giving each other gifts that didn’t work!
After he turned 35, my husband began to worry about how he looked. He says, “I have dark circles under my eyes, which makes me look older and makes it harder for me to negotiate work.” I told him to eat well, drink a lot of water, and get enough sleep. But he thought these methods were too slow and not useful.
He searched on Google for “cucumbers under eyes at night” and found that he needed to do that. One day when I got home from work, he was lying on the couch with pickled cucumber slices under his eyes. I ask him why not new ones. He says, “I got pickled cucumbers because there weren’t any fresh ones in the store.” Also, they taste better and can be eaten later.
The cucumber patches didn’t work. Even after this test, the dark circles stayed.

My grandmother used to complain a lot about my grandfather’s old car when I was a kid. She would say it was in the middle of the courtyard, blocking the way and bothering everyone. It hadn’t been driven in a long time, so it was just rusting away. She yelled at him a hundred times and told him to throw away that piece of metal, but my grandfather never did.
One day, my grandmother made him so mad that he refused to take the car to the scrapyard. He made it a “place for kids.” He added insulation, fixed the roof, and took out one of the front seats, which made it bigger. You could sit in the driver’s seat, play, turn the steering wheel, and even the horn worked!
My grandfather was very happy, but my grandmother was very angry!

My husband began to spend a lot of time in the bathroom. He would turn on the water and then be quiet, which made me worry about him. I lost my patience yesterday and went to look in the bathroom.
My husband got up and tried to hide a big, rustling bag under the towel. Our grown-up dad just locked himself in with his favourite candy because he didn’t want to share it with the kids.
My husband had a great Friday. He played with the kids in the kitchen, making a huge mess and leaving a full washbasin of dirty dishes. I had already gone to bed and was waiting for this loud group to calm down. They turned off all the lights, and my husband said, “I don’t want to clean anything. You’ll do it in the morning.”
I was angry and clenched my teeth. I went to get a drink and see how bad the disaster was going to be tomorrow, and everything was clean! This is the best joke he’s ever played on me!
We couldn’t agree on a name for our future daughter. We thought about it for a long time and looked at all the choices.
My husband showed up right after the baby was born, and I told him right away, “Lily.” Lily is the name of our daughter. This sudden choice surprised him, but he didn’t mind, even though we hadn’t thought of that name at first.
My mum came to the hospital to see the baby a little while later. The first thing she said was, “I bet you named her Lily?” My husband and I were shocked at how my mom figured it out. She just said, “You named all your dolls that when you were a kid.” That was your favourite name!
My dad was never very good at giving gifts. My mom always did all of that, and he just went along with it.
But one time he thought it wasn’t quite right and gave me a screwdriver as a gift. I was about ten years old and so mad at him that I probably didn’t talk to him for a week. I wondered, “Why do I need a screwdriver?” Dad, couldn’t you have given me something better?
Of course, I got over it in the end. And I’ve been using that screwdriver for 20 years now because it’s really cool.
Just a mum over here who wanted a real picture with her kids instead of a selfie.

My mom, aunt,
My mom, aunt,

My mom, aunt, and grandma all called:
Hey there! How are you?
“Well, I’m working on a project and going to the gym…”
“That’s great for you!” But hey…
And then a 40-minute speech about how neighbour Gala got new slippers and Uncle Pete is fixing up the bathroom again. “But don’t worry about your little things” was the best part. The most important thing is your health!
In conclusion, the best way to get someone to do something is to gently remind them in the morning that their whole life is just a backdrop for the news about Gala’s slippers. Do you feel the same way?
I was at the grocery store with my daughter the other day, and as usual, she was grabbing things and throwing them into the cart. I look at my phone and pick up things from the list. After that, I grab the kid’s hand and walk to the checkout, where I realise I’ve taken someone else’s kid.
I started to sweat cold, then hot. I went back and saw my own daughter right away, standing next to another mom who was daydreaming like me. We switched kids and went our separate ways…
Today, my sister told me about how she spent a week in beautiful Istanbul with our parents. They hired a taxi driver who was over 50 years old to take them to all the beautiful places all day.
They went to a nice restaurant at night. The taxi driver told them he would wait for them. My sister told my dad, “He’s a nice guy; let him come to dinner with us.” Dad said he agreed and asked him to come along.
At first, he wasn’t sure, but then he agreed. They got some really good fish. The taxi driver got upset and thanked them, saying, “My family and I have never been to a restaurant like this!”

These little, imperfect, laugh-out-loud moments are what love looks like in real life. Do you have a story like this in your family? Post it in the comments. The more funny and crazy it is, the better!
